WARRANT EXECUTED – DRUGS AND WEAPONS SEIZED
9 ARRESTED
(ALEXANDRIA,ON) On March 2, 2018, An investigation led by the Community Street Crime Unit – Project REDSTART was executed with the assistance of OPP Tactical Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Cornwall Community Police Service and SD&G OPP. The officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on several residences and one business in the Village of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township.
This resulted in the seizure of a quantity of drugs:
– 2260 methamphetamine pills (speed)
– 1064 Hydromorphone pills
– 27 Fentanyl patches
– 594 grams of marihuana
– 66 grams of hash
The estimated street value of drugs seized is $42,540
This also resulted in the seizure of a quantity of weapons and Canadian currency:
– 2 hand guns
– 2 Conducted Energy Weapons (Tasers)
– Nunchucks
– Over $15000 cash
– Multiple Long guns
– Ammunition
– 6 replica handguns
The following individuals were arrested and charged;
Pierre LAROSE (59) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking (11 counts)
– Unauthorized Possession of a weapon (2 counts)
– Careless storage of ammunition (3 counts)
– Public Mischief
– Fraud over $5000 (5 counts)
– Possession of property obtained by crime (2 counts)
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Brigitte MARTINSON (49) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking (11 counts)
– Unauthorized Possession of a weapon (2 counts)
– Careless storage of ammunition (2 counts)
– Possession of property obtained by crime (2 counts)
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Claude LAVIGNE (53) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a controlled substance
– Produce a controlled substance
– Fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance
– Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Luc LEROUX (52) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
He was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on April 4, 2018.
Christian SEGUIN (34) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking (2 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on April 4, 2018.
Gordon HODGES (31) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking
He was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on April 4, 2018.
Jonathan CARRIERRE (21) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
– Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order (2 counts)
– Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to probation order (2 counts)
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Rebecca LACOMBE (40) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
– Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order (4 counts)
– Fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Maxime CATER (28) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking
– Unauthorized Possession of a weapon (3 counts)
– Possession of property obtained by crime
