Two Toronto Police Service officers have been arrested and charged.
It is alleged that:
– on January 27 and 28, 2018, two officers attempted to obstruct, pervert or defeat the course of justice, by destroying or converting to their own use, evidence, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
It is further alleged that:
– on January 27 and 28, 2018, two officers, being officials who, in connection with the duties of their office, committed a breach of trust contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, two officers were arrested.
Constable Vittorio Dominelli, 36, with 13 years’ service, currently attached to 13 Division has been charged with:
1. Attempt to Obstruct Justice
2. Breach of Trust
Constable Jamie Young, 35, with 2 1/2 years’ service, currently attached to 13 Division has been charged with:
1. Attempt to Obstruct Justice
2. Breach of Trust
They are scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Thursday, June 7, 2018, 2 p.m., in room 505.
