WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Scott Robinson, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on September 28th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged in July 2015, the man forced his way into a residence that belonged to someone unknown to him and removed a computer and a quantity of jewellery. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 28th, 2018, a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended the courthouse as the man was in custody for an unrelated matter. The warrant was executed and he remained in custody to await a bail hearing.
IMPAIRED OPERATION CAUSING BODILY HARM
Cornwall, ON – Kyle Manion, 22, of Ingleside was arrested on September 29th, 2018 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when the vehicle struck a ditch in the area of Pitt Street North. Three passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 9th, 2018.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Sunny Ashby, 18, of Cornwall was arrested on September 29th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for consuming alcohol and failing to abide by his curfew. He was also charged with breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man was found breaching his conditions during the night of September 29th, 2018 and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
CARE AND CONTROL
Cornwall, ON – Rachelle Seguin, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on September 30th, 2018 and charged with care and control of a motor vehicle. It is alleged while in the area of Sydney Street the woman was found to be in care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 11th, 2018.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 62-year-old Limoges man was arrested on September 30th, 2018 and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged the man assaulted his common-law-wife and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 30th, 2018. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
FLIGHT FROM POLICE, POSSESSION OF COCAINE, POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Dustin O’Byrne, 23, and Kevin Ingola, 23, both of Cornwall, were arrested on October 1st, 2018 and charged as follows:
Dustin O’Byrne:
• Flight from police
• Possession of cocaine
• Possession of methamphetamine
• Breach of probation (for possessing drugs and failing to keep the peace)
Kevin Ingola:
• Possession of cocaine
• Possession of methamphetamine
• Breach of probation (for failing to keep the peace)
It is alleged on October 1st, 2018, Dustin O’Byrne failed to stop for police in the area of Guy Street and First Street. Police later located him, at which time both men were found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine and methamphetamine. They were taken into custody and charged accordingly. Dustin O’Byrne was released to appear in court on November 15th, 2018 and Kevin Ingola was held for a bail hearing.
