ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, ADMINISTER NOXIOUS SUBSTANCE, POINTING A FIREARM, BREACH OF PROHIBITION
Cornwall, ON – Taylor Bergeron, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on December 4th, 2018 and charged with the following:
• Assault with a weapon x 2
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose x 2
• Administer noxious substance
• Pointing a firearm
• Breach of prohibition order x 3
It is alleged on December 4th, 2018, Taylor Bergeron attended the residence of a man who was known to him and pointed a BB gun at the man, as well as assaulted him using bear spray. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 4th, 2018 and charged with mischief under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on December 3rd, 2018, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence and damaged a window. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On December 4th, 2018, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
BREAK AND ENTER, THREATS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 5th, 2018 and charged with the following:
• Break and enter
• Threats
• Breach of recognizance (for contacting and being within 200 metres of his ex-girlfriend)
• Breach of probation (for contacting and being within 100 metres of his ex-girlfriend and failing to keep the peace)
It is alleged during the early morning hours on December 5th, 2018, the man made threats to kill his ex-girlfriend and forcefully entered her residence without her permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
