BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 4th, 2019 and charged with breach of undertaking for being within 250 metres of his ex-wife’s place of employment. It is alleged on March 28th, 2019, the man attended the area of his ex-wife’s workplace and police were contacted to investigate. On April 4th, 2019, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 4th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man took money from his ex-girlfriend on August 18th, 2018, without her permission, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 4th, 2019, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 7th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
HARASSING COMMUNICATIONS
Cornwall, ON – A 62-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 4th, 2019 and charged with harassing communications. It is alleged the man had continuously made phone calls to his ex-girlfriend, despite being warned to stop. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 4th, 2019, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 23rd, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
