WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Curtis Griffith, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on May 1st, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on September 19th, 2018 for a theft of a motor vehicle offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 1st, 2019, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Paul Poirier, 47, of Cornwall was arrested on May 1st, 2019 and charged with threats x 2. It is alleged on April 30th, 2019, the man made threats to harm two women who are known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On May 1st, 2019, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on May 30th, 2019.
OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Brock Brown, 33, of Long Sault was arrested on May 1st, 2019 and charged with over 80. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Brookdale Avenue and Fourteenth Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 21st, 2019.
