THREATS X 2
Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 6th, 2019 and charged with two counts of threats. It is alleged on June 5th, 2019, the youth made threats to harm multiple people who are not known to him, as well as to damage two buildings. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 6th, 2019 he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Cortlon Skidders, 21, of Akwesasne was arrested on June 6th, 2019 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to be with his surety while outside his residence, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 6th, 2019, while stopped at the Port of Entry, the man was outside of his residence while not in the company of his surety. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
CAUSE A DISTURBANCE, RESIST ARREST
Cornwall, ON – Robert Hickman, 40, of Morrisburg was arrested on June 6th, 2019 and charged with causing a disturbance and resist arrest. It is alleged on June 6th, 2019, the intoxicated man was causing a disturbance outside of a Brookdale Avenue restaurant and police were contacted to investigate. After a brief struggle, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court at a later date.
CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
Cornwall, ON – A 33-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 6th, 2019 and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged between March and June, the man repeatedly followed, contacted and watched a woman known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On June 6th, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
