ADDITIONAL HISTORICAL SEXUAL OFFENCE CHARGES LAID
(ROCKPORT, ON) – In April, 2016, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Leeds County detachment, on two separate occasions, arrested and charged 72 year old Ronald Howard HUCK of Rockport, ON, for historical sexual offences dating from the late 1960’s to 2000 which involved multiple victims.
These charges stemmed from an investigation which commenced in October 2015 and resulted in the accused being charged with a total of:
– 5 counts of Gross Indecency
– 5 counts of Indecent Assault on a Male
– 3 counts of Sexual Assault and
– 1 count of Sexual Exploitation
The accused is charged with additional historical sexual offence charges dating from 1964 to 2000 and are in relation to additional victims.
On May 31, 2016, the accused was arrested and is facing additional charges of:
– 1 count of Rape,
– 1 count of Sexual Intercourse With a Female Under The Age Of 14 years,
– 1 count of Indecent Assault On a Female,
– 4 counts of Indecent Assault On a Male, and
– 4 counts of Gross Indecency
He was held in custody pending the outcome of a bail hearing on the June 1, 2016 at Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville, ON.
As a result of this recent arrest, the accused is charged with a total of twenty-five (25) separate historical sexual offences in relation to thirteen (13) victims, and the offences are said to have occurred in the County of Leeds and the City of Ottawa, where he had been a teacher.
