BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 30-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 29th, 2015 and charged with breaching his undertaking for having consumed alcohol, being in the company of a person he has conditions not to associate with and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged while investigating a disturbance on December 29th, 2015 at a Sydney Street residence police found the man in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Daniel Cook, 29 of Cornwall was arrested on December 29th, 2015 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged in March, 2015 a warrant was issued for his arrest as a result of driving offences. On December 29th, 2015 the warrant was executed by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service who attended the Cornwall Courthouse as the man was in custody on unrelated matters.
Cornwall, ON – Louis Lafave, 44 of Cornwall was arrested on December 24th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on December 24th, 2015 the man attended a Ninth Street store and removed merchandise making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 28th, 2016.
MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 59-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 25th, 2015 and charged with mischief. It is alleged during an argument on December 25th, 2015 the man threw a brick through his ex-girlfriend’s window and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 26th, 2016. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
