BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old Long Sault youth was arrested on October 2nd, 2018 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to abide by house rules. It is alleged on October 1st, 2018 the youth breached his conditions and police were contacted to investigate. On October 2nd, 2018 the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80, UNAUTHORIZED POSSESSION OF A WEAPON
Cornwall, ON – Stephen Miller, 60, of Cornwall was arrested on October 2nd, 2018 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, over 80, as well as unauthorized possession of a weapon. It is alleged on October 2nd, 2018 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Montreal Road and Prince Arthur Street. He was taken into custody, at which time he was allegedly found to be in possession of pepper spray. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 9th, 2018.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Patrick Clement, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on October 2nd, 2018 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to report to police and failing to report a change of address. It is alleged the man failed to report to police on September 25th, 2018, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, it was learned that the man allegedly changed his address without notifying police. On October 2nd, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
